This policy applies to consumer purchases from easytvcy on easytvcy.com, under the Cyprus Consumer Rights Law of 2013 (Law 133(I)/2013, Directive 2011/83/EU) and the law implementing Directive (EU) 2019/771 on the sale of goods.
1. 14-day right of withdrawal
You can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. The period starts on the day you (or someone you nominate, other than the carrier) receive the product. If you receive several products on different days, it starts from the day you receive the last one.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement at [email protected] with your order number. You may use the model form at the end of this page, but you don't have to. It is enough to send your statement before the 14 days end.
2. Sending the product back
- Send or hand the product back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after telling us you are withdrawing.
- You pay the direct cost of returning the product.
- Return the product complete, with every item you received, preferably in its original packaging and well protected.
3. Opened products and the condition of the device
By law you may open the packaging and inspect the product as you would in a shop, to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Opening it for inspection does not remove your right of withdrawal.
You are, however, liable for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary for that inspection. For example:
- using the device to watch TV beyond a short test,
- scratches, knocks or other wear,
- missing items or damaged packaging,
- settings or software changes that cannot be reversed.
In these cases we deduct the loss in value from your refund, which can be up to the full value of the product. We will explain the reason in writing.
4. Refunds
- We refund everything you paid, including the standard delivery cost, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal statement.
- We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or you have supplied proof of sending it, whichever comes first.
- We refund using the same payment method. For cash on delivery orders we refund by bank transfer to the account you give us, at no cost to you.
5. Faulty products and the legal guarantee
Separately from the right of withdrawal, you have a 2-year legal guarantee of conformity from delivery. If the product is faulty or does not match its description:
- Contact [email protected] with your order number and a description or photos of the problem.
- You are entitled to free repair or replacement and, if that is not possible, a price reduction or refund.
- We cover the shipping costs for faulty products.
A fault that appears within one year of delivery is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless proven otherwise.
Not a product fault: reception problems caused by the antenna, cables, area coverage or TV settings, and damage from misuse, drops, moisture or power surges.
6. What's in the box
The box contains the decoder, the remote control and the power adapter. If you return the product, send all of them back.
The box does not include batteries or an HDMI cable. An HDMI cable is included only in the “Decoder + HDMI” package.

8. Resolving disputes
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Consumer Protection Service of the Cyprus Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry or an alternative consumer dispute resolution body.
