How to choose a DVB-T2 decoder in Cyprus
Officials said clearly that some cheap, unknown decoders could not receive the new signal. Before you pay for anything, check what it needs to have.

- H.265 / HEVC, the modern compression standard
- Full HD 1080p
- HDMI output (and SCART for a very old TV)
- A country setting and manual channel search (for channels 35/48)
- A remote control and instructions in a language you understand
- A seller in Cyprus who helps you set it up

What to know before you buy
- Wi-Fi is not included: you need a separate USB adapter.
- The remote uses 2 AAA batteries, which are not included in the box. Pick up two with the decoder.
- No HDMI cable is included in the box. If you don't have one, choose the "Decoder + HDMI" package.
- Some devices sold for the Greek market may need a country setting change to find the new frequencies (Department of Electronic Communications guidance). See the troubleshooting guide.
How it connects (4 steps)
- Antenna → the decoder's antenna input
